The original station was contrived and built with a 200ft long trainshed. As the traffic of the station grew rapidly, it was also greatly throve with opening of Great Hall in 1849. The Euston arch was famous for its design and tradition which functioned as the original entrance for the Euston station. The curve was upheld on four sections and four wharfs with bronze entryways set behind them. It has a height of 70feet and 44feet profound,and the distance across those segments was about 8feet 6inches. The structure of arch was fabricated from Bramley Fall.But it was demolished in 1962 for reconstructing the station. The remains of the Euston arch was found in 1994 which was used to fill the Prescott Channel.
